Pomme Chan, a distinguished artist, holds a BA in Interior Design from Silpakorn University, Bangkok. Her career in design and illustration began at the Bangkok offices of Dentsu and Grey, where she harnessed her skills in graphic design.
In 2002, Pomme expanded her horizons by moving to the UK for a foundational Graphic Design and Communication course at the London College of Communication. This 12-year period in London was instrumental in shaping her unique artistic vision.
Returning to Bangkok in 2014, Pomme leveraged her two decades of experience in design and illustration to establish the Happy People Studio. This venture allowed her to explore the intersection of art and functional design, specializing in creating hand-drawn illustrations that transform into various forms like Packaging, Installation, Shopping Mall Decoration, wallpaper, Prints, and home decor items.
In 2020, she launched the Swoon Space Home Decor, further expanding her artistic influence in interior decorating and design. Additionally, she introduced a new venture, Happy People House, focusing on souvenirs and gifting.
Pomme's artistic philosophy centres around the versatile use of illustration in daily life. She challenges the conventional underappreciation of illustration, demonstrating its potential across various mediums.
