Pomme Chan is a Bangkok-based multi-disciplinary artist and designer with 23 years of practice in illustration. Her hand-drawn line anchors work that moves across media and scale—brand campaigns, interiors, products, and large-format artworks. She works end-to-end, from concept through production, guided by a simple belief: a single drawing can become many things when its context, scale, or process changes.
Pomme began her career in London, where she spent 12 years collaborating with global brands and editorial titles while expanding into art direction and interior styling. That period shaped her cross-disciplinary approach and her ability to translate visual ideas into tangible experiences.
In 2015, she relocated to Bangkok and founded Happy People Studio, a practice that bridges commercial illustration and contemporary art. In 2020, she launched Swoon Space to bring illustration into everyday life through cushions, rugs, and wall coverings for homes and hospitality. Swoon extends her studio ethos: thoughtful images, well-made, built to live with.
Today, Pomme focuses primarily on fine art, exploring colour, material, and mindful states through painting and mixed media, while continuing selected brand and spatial collaborations. Selected career highlights include an invitation to create a Poster for the Oscars Award 2015 artist series, recognition as Thailand’s Designer of the Year in 2019, and participation in the Thailand Biennale (2021).
Looking ahead, she plans to formalize a design-consulting practice for hotels and hospitality, curating visual narratives that align art, space, and operation. Across all her work, her goal remains consistent: to elevate daily life through intelligent, beautifully crafted illustration.
